The Union Jackarse Website is now fully operational apart from 2 or three very minor develpments that won't come for a while anyway.

Also filming has now begun as of yesterday! Yesterday was the first full filming day by some of the UJA, i hear it was quite a funny time. More filming dates are soon to follow this easter holiday so lookout for more updates on them too.

I'm pleased to announce that the UnionJackarse website is now pretty much fully functional, hasn't got much functionality to it, but, who cares, its essentially just a place to update things.

The site includes information the Union Jackarse project as a whole such as details on previous films and the film(s) to come in the future.

The website also contains:

Team bio's, a journal (updated after every filming session) as well as sneak previews, ideas, feedback, a forum, affiliates and bonus material. Plus any other things we can think of in the future :)

Oh and the old UJA guestbook has been slightly edited for a more user friendly feel to it.

Heres are a few questions answered by the Admin.

Q: How did you all meet?
A: We all went to the same school, and were mostly all in the same year, if not a few years below.

Q: Who came up with the idea of a media production company?
A: Well it was probably Simon, he's always wanted to make a spoof film even way back in year 8 or 9. But until 2002 we didn't have the knowledge or plans to do something about it. He was also the one with the camera (his dad's anyway haha)

Q: What is Piss About Productions all about?
A: Having fun... simple as that. If it wasn't fun i wouldn't do it. Also, theres not alot to do round here, i mean this all started out of bordom from Sixth Form in 2002. IF we had actually worked this probably wouldn't have started.

Q: Is this a full time job for most of you?
A: Haha, nope, we're all apart from a few in education, either secondary school, univeristy. So alot of this is in our own spare time, but thats the great thing about it because its like a rare treat. It also means we only have easter, and summer to make the film in. Alot of us have been eager to film since Mid December of 2004.

Q: What roles are there in the company?
A: Erm, a fair few, but alot of us are general purpose, so we help with anythign and everything. But theres a fair specific roles, like the online content (union jackarse) , updates that sort of thing, i cover that because most of my life is on the computer haha.
Theres a few people who come up with alot of the ideas too and also others who help with editing and all that.

Q: Does the company have a goal and if so what is it?
A: I think probably to just have fun, but make something worthwhile too, i don't know really haha.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Currently we're working on a few things, but one is the beginning stages of making the last film in the Union Jackarse saga. It's going to be good :)

Q: How many people in the group and who is who?
A: Well, i'd say there was about... 10 people or more in Piabpro. And only a few have access to this website. But, The Founder is "Si"... i the Admin, am "Age" and Not2Smart is "Danny". Thats all the people who may post here for the time being but give it a few days and more should be registered soon.

Q: I've tried to make a film but didn't want to get sued, how do you go about the issue of copyright music and such?
A: Well, the best thing to do is not to use it obviously. But as long as you don't try and sell it, or if you do, you don't make a profit, it should be fine. But don't quote me on that one haha.

Welcome to the website!

Piss About Productions was founded in late 2002 when a group of old secondary school friends came up with the idea to recreate a UK based version of the hit film and TV series, Jackass.

The group's main focus is to do things they enjoy doing, having fun and keeping close to their friends and so far creating comedy/spoof films has proved to be a good way in doing so.

Since 2002 the group have made 2 films in just over 2 years (1 full length DVD) and have already laid plans to make the final part of the trilogy late this year.

Throughout the next year or more this blog will record the progress of any of Piss About Production's creative projects and will give an insight into how the films are made. They will also be a source of extra features and information.

Of course this will not always be the home of Piss About Productions, in the future after a few more creative projects piabpro will have a dot com website to host all these features plus much more...
